Wow... yes, it
is definitely a *very* nice application. Getting notams, convective sigmets,
and winds aloft is a great feature. I even stored and filed a flight plan with
it, and it worked.
Your
service is wonderful!
Congratulations.
The new Nexrad images are first rate.
Thanks,
this product makes life easier!
Your
service is one I would love to have (and wondered for a long time why it
shouldn't be available)
Having
your system operate on the Palm is your greatest strength; Merlin and
Controlvision and Echoflight really cannot compete with you in that
regard. It is so much more realistic to use a Palm in-flight than to use
the Echoflight or controlvision systems with all their wires and interfaces.
Nice
job on the latest version. The new radar pages are turning out to be a great
tool. Being based in Scottsdale, we use them on a daily basis this time of
year.
I
got a chance to use version 1.4 in more detail this weekend including in
flight... this is terrific and definitely a huge improvement from the prior
version! I will recommend this to all my instrument students.
Thanks
for the incredible service/support
I
find both the city landmarks and the broader area coverage accessible through
the scroll bars to both be significant improvements over the production version
of WeatherClip that I have loaded.
I
also want to mention that I've been playing with several of the other features
of WeatherClip. My initial impressions are generally very positive. I'll let
you know more about my impressions after I have some real-world experience with
WeatherClip.
This
weekend I was in the AZ/NV/CA tri-state area. Again, WeatherClip worked well.
Before firing up the airplane, I now routinely check the latest METAR for my
destination airport - in case the weather changed.
I
use it constantly on my Kyocera Smartphone, mostly to get METARs and TAFs,
frequently to file flight plans and sometimes to get NEXRAD
Thanks.
I've been using WeatherClip very intensively here during instrument training on
the Big Island - not that the weather is bad, but mostly to get winds on the
METARS.
I
can now use Weather Clip on my Kyocera Smartphone. It's incredible to be able
to get real time radar images!
I'm
a captain for a charter airline flying the 737-800. I constantly impress
the guys I fly with when I pull out my palm and get real-time Wx even on the
crew van going to the airport!
Hello!
I'm really enjoying your service. Glad you're here.
I'm
happy to support WeatherClip. It's a great service.
I
use it in the plane and have had excellent reception all over the country.
I
have used WxClp several times on the taxiway to recheck wx on bad days.
My main use of it, that I find the most useful, is checking Wx from the hotel
room in the mornings.
Works
great. Thanks for your help and quick response. I would recommend your service
to any pilot
This
software is outstanding. It has already been of great use to me
flying out of an uncontrolled field.
Thanks
so much for the update. I love your software. It has been a real
aid to me particulary when the weather is bad-- which
seems to be more frequent than I would like. It has been a great use also
when I am in and out of the little grass strips around here.
It's
a terrific service. Thanks for your good work
First
of all, let me say I think your text-based weather system is terrific and is a
huge asset in my flying. Second, I think having such a frequently updated
Nexrad system is extremely helpful.
